Delicious drinks, delicious fries, delicious deviled eggs, delicious Jean Baptist's burger ...everything so delicious here! We had two servings of the eggs and would have gone for more! The burger was delicious fresh juicy goodness! The fries...oh my!!! More please!! Everything was just delicious! The decor is cute. Nice and chill, makes you want to just go hangout there. Friendly staff members and attentive too. Went at 4:45pm on a Thursday and it was pretty empty, but started getting busy around 6:00pm. Loved it!
Came here to eat breakfast because it is in the hotel. The food is delicious and the service is great. Would also like to point out their cute surfing/beach deco, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable:) Ordered salmon salad and egg and toast and would say the salmon is definitely the highlight! The crust is crispy and the greens are fresh and the ferro is filling! The scrambled egg is delicious and the toast is great too but as compared to the salmon, it just feels a bit too simple. Would recommend for the restaurant for anyone who stays here at kimpton, or just a normal breakfast find!
I didn't want to eat at the restaurant in the hotel I'm staying at...again..so, I ended up in the restaurant at a different hotel. The decor is cute, beach blankets adorn the barstools, with blow up beach toys placed along the bar. Almost made me forget how cold it is outside. The bartender was attentive and friendly-same goes for the rest of the staff. I wish they had more breakfast options, but that may have made for a more difficult decision. I had a delicious and delicately sweet Peach Bellini and the mushroom and egg polenta. It came with a simple side salad and was quite tasty and satisfying.
What a fun place! It was spring break themed, and they had rainbows springs and palm tree decor everywhere. We got there around 6:30 on a Friday for dinner, and waited at the bar for a few minutes while a table was clearing. We got a drink from the bar from a special spring break menu! It's a special pop up bar that's open until April 30! I was surprised to see they have Midori (I don't go to bars often but I always ask to see if they have it and they almost never do). One of their drinks seemed to be similar to a midori sour (the ecto-cooler) and I ended up getting that. My friends got the wet t shirt contest and pimm's cup. All of our drinks came in special containers (mine was in a kool-aid pouch, we had 2 palm tree cups). Once we were seated, we ordered some food. We got an appetizer of pretzel bites. They all got burgers and I ended up getting the 24 hour pork belly. The pork belly was delicious. It came over a bed of lentils, which I'm not a big fan of, but the pork belly itself made up for that. I was eyeing a few other menu items (Brussels sprouts, mussels) that I definitely want to come back and try! I also took a look at their normal drink menu and they had some pretty interesting drinks on there as well. Definitely have to come back here and try some more things!
